Public schools
Contrairement à ce que leur nom indique, les public schools anglaises sont des écoles privées. Elles sont en général réservées aux enfants de l'Establishment ou de milieux aisés, car le coût de la scolarité y est très élevé, notamment dans les plus prestigieuses d'entre elles (Eton, Harrow, Winchester, Rugby). Cependant, ces écoles accordent également la gratuité de la scolarité ou des bourses d'études à des élèves brillants mais peu fortunés. Secondary schools
